Note that the Xinerama for the "Dual mode for the i810 that does work" attachment seems to incorrectly tell the window manager about the size of the second screen: you can't move windows (like an xterm) to the far right of the second screen (somewhere in the middle, it stops your moving). You can, however, maximize the window and then it actually will reach that far right part of the screen.
You can also press buttons and do things in that window, then. However, popup-windows like menus will be aligned or glued to the far left part of the second screen. New windows will not be centered correct and cannot be moved correctly.
