Hi, I recently installed DeVeDe on Edgy and also had to explicitly install the following packages apart from vcdimager:
python-gtk2 python-galde2 -- Devede needs vcdimager software https://launchpad.net/bugs/73537 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
