Hi, finaly I have found the right bug report about my problem :) The are too much new bug reports about that issue.
I confirm, that inspite of the error message during the installation the NVIDIA driver was installed and works after a reboot. BUT after a reboot Hardware Drivers writes "a different version of this driver is in use". After pressing the Activate button I got the same error message: Sorry, the installation of this driver failed. Please have a look at the log file for details.: /var/log/jockey.log. See screen shot. I hope the fix you proposed will fix this problem too.
