In version 0.12.5 which was shipped with Karmic, left clicking would show / hide the main window while right clicking would show a context menu. This is consistent with the rest of the tray icons in both Karmic and Lucid; all of them show the context menu on right click, and offer some quick actions on left click.
There's no point in moving the context menu on left click, all the while leaving right click unused. Right now, right click does nothing. It's really stupid if you think about it - why put all the actions under 1 button of the mouse, when there are 2 or more available on every PC? Or is this for Macs? And if so, why not every other tray icon? Anyway - it wouldn't be the first stupid UI decision Ubuntu has taken with Lucid, but it's worth complaining about it - maybe one day... -- Rhythmbox tray behaviour doesn't make sense https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549962 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
