I also have this problem on 10.04 beta in Nautilus 2.30. I read somewhere it might have something to do with a gnome keyring.
I get this error: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus) That seems to be right, because if I mount a share and choose to forget password, it simply works. So something goes wrong with saving the password, or retrieving it, it seems.
