Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kipi-plugins
Upstream recommmends to package kipi-plugins 1.2.0 for lucid, also they will release these plugins alongside with digikam each release and so they suggests to package kipi and digikam together. kipi-plugins 1.2.0 fixes several bugs, see http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/512 I tested kipi-plugins 1.2.0 with digikam and gwenview so far and I ran into no problems. A package is in staging ppa and installation went fine.
