My disc drive : Samsung SH-D163B
+ Udev version : 151-10
SYMPTOMS:
- place a cd/dvd in the drive, nothing happens. Check /etc/fstab, no cd drive
listed.
- disc tray close automatically after eject (same issue if i use right click
on disc icon or if if i use disc button)
- if i remove cd/dvd when disc tray is closed, blank DVD appears on desktop
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Install ubuntu Lucid
2. After the desktop appears, place cd or dvd in disc drive and nothing
happens (1st Symptom)
3. Mounting can be forced by pressing "mounted" in the Disk Utility
4. Eject cd/dvd and disc tray close automatically after eject (2nd Symptom)
5. Disc drive is closed blank DVD appears on desktop (3rd Symptom)
