confirm the issue (HP 8730w). Lucid beta2. This problem did not happen in alpha1, x11 was broken on alpha2, it did not happen on beta1 & now shows-up on beta2... Remove both drivers, then activate "current", then reboot... to have it fixed. Seems very hard to get rid of the NOUVEAU stuff.
