LiveCD of 4/16/2010 still does not work with my TRENDnet KVM switch. Another point to make, I can boot up a machine with a monitor directly attached. And then I can rearrange the monitor cable such that I am going through the KVM switch. That works.
So, the problem is when "the thing" that does monitor detection, or KVM detection, is screwing up on the KVM detection. But the Grub Menu is displayed, so Grub has no problem throwing bits up through the KVM switch. -- gdm fails to start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/554023 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
