I got the same message four times since my last entry here, each time accompanied by a computer freeze requiring a boot. For the first three times, I couldn't identify the process from the id. The last time, the process matching the id was scsi_eh_3. What to make of this? Of the 6 scsi_eh_? listed in the process list, scsi_eh_3 was the only one with a CPU time different than zero (in case this matters). I am wondering of the problem is related to some sort of disk operation, as I remember clearly than in at least two occurrences, I had just used the save function in gedit.
