The time of the freeze is April 16th at 18:26, not April 15th. Sorry about the mistake.
** Description changed: My laptop Toshiba Portege R500 running ubuntu 9.10 freezes occasionally - a few times in a month, sometimes more frequently. The mouse pointer moves but the system does not respond in any way to mouse clicks or keyboard. I can reboot with ctrl+alt+sysrq+REISUB. The log files show nothing obviously unusual around the time these freezes occur. The last time it happened, i held down ctrl+alt+sysrq and stroke r9dlmpqtw, maybe not exactly in that order, to dump something to the logs before - rebooting (see attachment, April 15th at 18:26). Memory tests have + rebooting (see attachment, April 16th at 18:26). Memory tests have revealed no faults in the laptop's memory. -- Occasional freeze with no apparent reason https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/564918 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
