I understand your complaint, however I cannot work on a bug further if you
are unwilling to test anything new that may fix it. You say "it was not only me
that reported the problem, but thousands of other people", but those other
people did not mark this bug as affecting them. I hope you understand why i am
marking this bug Invalid. Without a tester willing to work on it who is
affected by the bug, the report is basically useless to me.
Should you decide in the future that you would like to upgrade and/or
test the more current software and you encounter this bug, then please
feel free to reopen this bug report.
