Plymouth is not an optional part of your system, we do not support you
removing it.

Note that your bug is also invalid; those packages are not removed, they
are merely suggested for automatic removal.  You don't need to run "apt-
get autoremove" and can continue with them installed and a functioning
system without Plymouth.

This is obviously not a supported Ubuntu system, but that's your call
;-)
