Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) will be end of life in a few days,
and in your last comment you said printing works in Ubuntu 9.04
(Jaunty). Therefore we are closing this bug report, feel free to reopen
this issue or report a new bug if you still can reproduce with a
supported release, preferably the live environment of the desktop cd of
the soon to be released Lucid Lynx.
