Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Sometimes when several tabs are open, Firefox goes nuts: it stops loading pages, or does it very slow, and it is successful in about 10% of the time. The tab bar stops reacting to mouse clicks, though ctrl-tab works. Even if I close the window, the process will not stop, I have to kill it manually. Then, if I restart Firefox, the problem does not go away: the tabs remain unreponsive, pages do not load, etc. As far as I know, the only "cure" is to create a new profile, which is a pain. I am using 9.10. Package version: 3.6.2~hg20100218r33594+nobinonly-0ubuntu2~umd1~karmic. However, it has happened with earlier versions as well. Please let me know what additional information you need. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Firefox messes up profile, cannot click tabs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/569466 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
