I can confirm this bug on Ubuntu 10.04 RC with all updates (up to April
24) on the motherboard M2N-MX. The suggested workaround works for me
flawlessly. I changed the script a bit and through experimentation I
found out suspend works perfectly just by disabling the OHCI ports. That
way, only USB 1.1 devices need to be disconnected during suspend, so
devices that are connected to USB 2.0 ports like external hard drives
will still be mounted after resume. The modified workaround is attached,
if you're using the original please try this one as it may be less
intrusive.
