This is an issue with Samba, not Ubuntu. I will test this when I upgrade to Lucid Lynx. I currently don't have the time for other testing. I am on the latest kernel. I update constantly. This problem with Samba 3.4.0 has occurred on older versions of the Linux Kernel. Again, I think this is a Samba 3.4.0 issue, as going to Samba 3.2.5 fixes the problem.
