The system was configured with three users, all users had the same access.
The XFCE desktop was installed on the system.
I as one of the user to log and he was successfully logged on.
After he was done, he logged out.
Then the next user log-on and the system will act as if it was logging on.
After 45 seconds it  will just go back to the log-on screen.
In order for the next user to be able to log the system had to perform 
a  cold boot.
