Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
This bug just appeared on Lucid beta so may be due to a recent update. The application notification icons on the right hand side of the top panel don't display properly. It looks like some icons were initially drawn on too far to the right and were subsequently re-drawn further to the left but the original rendering was not removed. See the attached screenshot for the details. Steps to reproduce: 1. Log-in to Lucid 10.04 beta 2. Wait for the desktop to appear Expected behaviour: All GUI elements of the desktop are rendered properly Actual behaviour: The application notification icons on the right of the top panel are not rendered properly (see screenshot) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: gnome-panel 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-21.32-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Apr 27 15:06:58 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Beta i386 (20100406.1) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_GB.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-panel ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid regression-potential -- Application notification icons on top panel are not rendered properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/570733 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
