Hi TheWitchDoktor. The Ubuntu One service was down for much needed upgrading in preparation for Lucid's release. The server's were not online when you last commented on this bug report (the servers came back online today at 03:45:00 UTC - See http://tinyurl.com/2bg26ah for local time conversions).
Can you please try syncing again & report back? If you are still having problems syncing, please attach your new Ubuntu One logs to this bug report. Please zip your $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder and attach the zip here.
