I just waited it out -> 5:30 minutes before having a reachable server.

mountall hasnt finished yet:
root       315     1  2 10:30 ?        00:00:07 mountall --daemon

Info for you to reproduce:

/etc/default/cryptdisks:
CRYPTDISKS_ENABLE=No
CRYPTDISKS_MOUNT=""
CRYPTDISKS_CHECK=blkid
CRYPTDISKS_PRECHECK=

/etc/crypttab:
secure /dev/sda6 none cipher=aes-cbc-essiv:sha256

bootvolume is ext4 with auto check ( tune2fs -c 1 ) at startup
encrypted volume is xfs (so, no fsck) and is not present in /etc/fstab

I'm curious if you can reproduce it now...
