Test case, assuming that I am encountering the same bug: Download New York GIS orthoimagery from http://www.nysgis.state.ny.us/gateway/mg/2006/tioga/ - I know without a doubt the files in the Owego dataset cause anything based on JasPer to segfault
Attempt to load these files with anything based on JasPer.
