Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Release: 10.04 gnome-panel: Installed: 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu1 0 500 ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/linux/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status I just upgrade from 9.10 to 10.4 and this is very strange. Pressing certain buttons open gnome-panel widgets that starts with that letter. For example I am in the gnome-terminal and type 'h' and the 'hamster-applet' pops up. Renders my desktop pretty much useless Cheers, Max.
