Public bug reported: Binary package hint: policykit-1
I'm using Lucid Lynx! After starting my laptop the polkit service is using less than 2MB but using 30% from my both CPU's. Progressively with time passing by the polkitd service is using a lot of memory (up 600MB) until my system bacame unresponsive! First I've thought that this memory leak is because of xorg https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/569711 but I've seen that this polkitd is taking all the CPU and RAM! As I write the service takes 150MB and with time will arrive at >500MB. How to stop, remove, kill, destroy, repair this service? Thanks! ** Affects: policykit-1 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- polkitd service is using all my RAM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572813 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
