as posted previously, ubuntu does got support for RTL8187SE now, so this bug report should be closed. However, due to the bugs (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rtl8187se/+bugs?field.status:list=NEW), RTL8187SE is basically useless on ubuntu, primarily due to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rtl8187se/+bug/416488 (i nearly have to sit on top of the router to get connection.. >.<)
