Hello Fumihito

Thanks for looking into this.

Meanwhile I have installed the officially released 64bit version of
Ubuntu.

Things are strange. After a fresh installation and a reboot WLAN did
not work at all (except for discovery/scanning).

There were error messages regarding the firmware.

I googled and found this to be quite similar:

       https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=519154

Subsequently,

      echo options iwlagn swcrypto=1 >> /etc/modprobe.d/options

restored WLAN functionallity, but the transfer rate was still too slow!
Max. 1 MB/s with pauses if big files are transferred.

Then I removed "options iwlagn swcrypto=1" from "options" to reproduce
the original error messages for you but after the reboot WLAN worked
unexpectedly and was much faster - ca. 3.8 MB/s.

Weirdly, the screen resolution had also changed from native 1280x800
to 1024x768.

Now, yet another reboot and the screen resolution is fine and WLAN
works fine too (without "options iwlagn swcrypto=1").

So things seem to be resolved for now. If things start failing again.
I will certainly report it.

Here some more information on my machine:

With "echo options iwlagn swcrypto=1 >> /etc/modprobe.d/options", I
still get this:
