Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs
My data discs randomly don't mount. A reboot seems to help, but not always. Eject also doesn't work correctly (it snaps shut immediately after opening after burning). Recently K3B reported that my cdrom could not be unmounted. I tried replacing my cd drive from a new drive from another computer, but it didn't help so I continue to use the original. I'm currently using Kubuntu Lucid, but I can confirm this occurs with Ubuntu Lucid. I purchased a USB external cd burner as a temporary solution and it appears to be uneffected by any symptom, so this might only apply to internal cd drives. Another interesting problem is that I can run the command 'sudo lshw' only one time, because it fails to collect any data the second time. 'sudo lshw' will work again after a reboot.
