Public bug reported:

I have just bought a Samsung N150 laptop, very nice netbook.
As I am a Ubuntu user since 2004, I directly replace Windows seven with the
latest Ubuntu version (Lucid Lynx 10.04).

After Ubuntu installation I notice the following network issue :

It impossible to be wired connected ! when I tried the wire connection with
another laptop it works.
I have found nothing on the net around this problem, so I suppose I am the only
one in this situation ...
I need to precise it's a fresh installation but I am reusing the /home
partition, maybe I have a wrong configuration in it, so I will be interested to
clear network parameters, could you please tell me what to do.
Wifi connection works fine.
