This has been fixed trusting the changelog (karmic onwards)

wifi-radar (2.0.s05-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream version
    - does not save configuration every run, in order to do not wast disk
      resources (Closes: #468412)
    - Configuration does not longer disappear after some runs (Closes: #511338)
    - wifi-radar now creates the configuration file if it is
      missing (Closes: #490667)
  * Patch makefile in order to respect PREFIX
  * Rediffed wifi-radar.desktop patch
  * Added Depends on menu as we use su-to-root in .desktop (Closes: #521583)
  * Updated package to for policy 3.8.2, no further changes needed
  * Removed init script as upstream doesn't support any longer the daemon mode
of wifi-radar
