Public bug reported: I was attempting to install xubuntu from an ISO file on my Macintosh HD (OS 10.4.7) to a Parallels workstation virtual machine. The installation nearly completed but crashed. I noted earlier in the installation process that my 1 GB of RAM was left with only 12 MB free! I highly doubt this had anything to do with ubiquity, but who knows? Here is the error message:
