Thanks for your quick response. I won't argue and I won't be difficult, I'm just trying to understand: The same third-party software was running fine under Jaunty and Karmic, and is failing in Lucid, as described, with the error message I reported. Does tha not logically indicate a problem with a Lucid library, or possibly more than one? Again, just trying to understand. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide on this.
