Public bug reported: running under Lucid Lynx 10.
External eSATA drive [maxor 1Tb] mounted via PCIe card mounts as read only. Unable to mount as RW, cannot write to drive at all. Unable to change permissions even logged in as root [drive is owned by root] although drive auto mounts and reads ok. Editing fstab &/or mtab to users,mode=0777 or users,mode=0755 does not enable write support. NTFS write support is shown as enabled. Mount manger has no effect. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ntfs write-support -- External NTFS esata drive mounting as read only https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575141 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
