Do you think you could install the system again (e.g. on a virtual
machine) following the steps at
http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Install/NonEnglishLanguage#Installation%20Full%20Network%20Support
and then tell us if the problem can be reproduced?
It would also be very useful if you could give us the output of the
'locale' command on the terminal.
Note that anyone from the Chinese community can try this, and it would
be very useful in helping debugging the problem.
