*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 87986 *** This is not a duplicate of bug 87896, that one is talking about the current version of the package not being properly installed in some fashion, in particular that the nvidia.ko module is not being properly created.
This bug is that even if that bug was solved, the 9631 drivers do not work with my motherboard/video card combination, whereas the newer stable 9755 drivers do work. To state it more clearly, the 9631 drivers do not produce video on my setup, even assuming that they are installed correctly. Bug 87896 is, as far as I can tell, that the 9631 drivers are not installed correctly.
