>From your Xorg.0.log: ===================================================== … (II) Module glx: vendor="NVIDIA Corporation" compiled for 4.0.2, module version = 1.0.0 Module class: X.Org Server Extension (II) NVIDIA GLX Module 195.36.15 Thu Mar 11 23:39:48 PST 2010 … ===================================================== That's just never going to work :).
The problem is that you've got the nvidia drivers installed, which replace bits of X in a way that breaks all other drivers, such as your radeon driver. The question is now: how did the upgrade come to install the nvidia glx drivers? Can you post the output of “aptitude why nvidia-current”? Do you have any of the libmyth* packages installed? ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- updated to Lucid from Karmic and now have no GLX. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573666 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
