Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-session
When applying updates, the shutdown indicator becomes red, and pressing it shows "Restart is necessary" instead of "Restart", BEFORE the update process has ended. This has happened to me right after a new kernel has been installed during the update process, but more updates where being applied. This could confuse users, and make them think they should restart the computer right now, even when the update is still in progress, leading their PC to an inconsistent state. ** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Indicator to restart computer appears before the end of the updating process https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575753 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
