Bilal Akhtar, well network-manager's applet is not technically an indicator, 
that's why it has the "old-school" tooltip.
But I agree that many people doesn't notice that or just think (like I did) 
that a such NEEDED feature was just disabled by mistake or because of the 
immature development of the indicators...

I however agree that the tooltips are not useful in touch-based devices,
but... Why not just make it optional? Underlining to developers that the
tooltips can't be used for providing vital informations, but just as an
help in some configurations!?
