After I installed Ubuntu 10.4 today, everything went well until I used Synaptic
Package Manager to update from the internet.
After I rebooted I could not access the internet anymore!
I re-installed the system clean again from ubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386.iso
and the network worked FINE again.
I am using "Parallels Desktop" on my MacBook Pro with MAC OS X 10.6.3
(Snow Leopard)
It seems to me that the network driver or software that got updated
killed my network access!
