Affected too. IMHO it is a serious issue. Until there is a solution or workaround, my kwallet content is effectively gone.
I had kwalletmanager installed and working in Ubuntu 9.10 After upgrade, it stopped working. I used it recently before upgrade making it very likely that it was related to a change caused by 10.04. Sympthoms are similar as mine. ps aux | grep kwall lists kwalletmanager kdeinit4: kwalletd [kdeinit] But there is no window or tray icon appearing. Killing kwalletmanager and starting it again from the shell result in this message: Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString) Will try to move my .kde/share/apps/kwallet/main.kwl to some other machine if the need to access something becomes urgent. -- kwalletmanager does not start in GNOME https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/576284 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdeutils in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
