This bug happened on my upgrade to lucid lynx. It started by opening a dialog telling me that the modules I had selected for likewise-open were not compatible with each other, but did not give me the chance to change them (libpam, something, something, something, etc.). I hit the forward button, the installation continued, and likewise-open produced several other installation errors during the install, including the one that generated the apport report.
