Sorry, there is in fact an option in the printing dialog of okular which allows double side printing. But this option is rather hiddden (one has to click twice on the "options" tab to see it. Okular should default to double side printing or at least there should be a global preference to set double-side printing when the printer permits. All other applications (firefox, thunderbird, openoffice. etc) prints double-side on my (double-side) printer without any intervention
