Till,  had no idea what cups-driver-gutenprint was, just assumed it was
there if it should be. When I looked it was not installed, obviously not
loaded as part of 10.04? I've installed it now.

It didn't fix the problem at first but after removing the printer from
the list and putting it back again the problem seems to be fixed. I
printed a test page and a data file and it was fine.

Suggest treating it as fixed as far as I'm concerned unless I post
again.
