Hello Monkey, Thanks for taking care of this report. Sorry for not uploading the syslog. I retried to install and can now upload the syslog (see new file attachment). Please do not wonder about the date and time recorded...the system clock's battery has to be replaced. By the way, it seems that the error comes up even before I select any installation language, I just have to wait for a while. The problem is occurring on a Compaq Armada M700, Pentium III 750 Mhz, 256 MB RAM.
