This is just a patch; you cannot simply run it. Install the kernel headers and the linux image from the link in this article: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release- notes/+bug/496093/comments/80. At reboot, don't forget to select the 2.6.32-21 kernel. This worked for me.
