Does installing the following packages help resolve the problem:
gstreamer0.10-plugins-base, gstreamer0.10-plugins-good, gstreamer0.10
-plugins-ugly, gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
If so then we probably need integration with KDE's media subsystem or
else have to install gstreamer to provide media support for OOo under
KDE.
Roman, this might be an area to improve KDE integration if you are
interested, but it may be somewhat complex, I am not sure how hard it
would be to have OOo use the KDE media subsystem instead of gstreamer.
