I've switched to a guest user. Now this file: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/47792962/empty-sheet.xls opens fine _the first time_, but if I open it again, I only see "t" from the first sheet. If I remove the .openoffice.org directory, I can open it fine again - once.
In a newly created file there is space for approximately 4 sheets, but when I open it, I see only 2.5 of 3. Finally, a (hopefully reproducible) way: 1. Login as guest, remove .openoffice.org if it exists. 2. Create a new file, put something in the first cell. 3. Rename sheets to "test1", "test2" and "test3". 4. Save as test.xls. 5. Close OO, remove .openoffice.org. 6. Open test.xls - there's space for approx. 4 sheets. 7. Close, open again - 2 and a half visible. 8. Remove .openoffice.org, open again - space for 4 sheets. -- Sheet names area is too narrow when opening an Excel spreadsheet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
