Public bug reported: Octoshape is a media playback plug-in used by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for some of their shows fed around the Eurovisioon network. One such show is the Eurovision Song COntest. Adding this plugin will enable playout of their streams.
I believe it is possible that is it proprietary - if so, please could Canonical discuss with them the possibility of getting it into the Partner repository,. COuld they also consider rolling it out to Hardy, Karmic as well as Lucid. URL : http://www.octoshape.com/?page=get_octo/get_octo Select Linux version - released as a .bin, dependencies are on the site. Licence : Unsure.Looks commercial. Also peer-to-peer. (Granted - I'll be using live broadcast via the Beeb...) ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [needs-packaging] EBU Octoshape https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584365 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
