Hi theUg. I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you.
Can you try the following and let us know the results?

   1. Quit Ubuntu One Preferences then run the following command in a Terminal: 
u1sdtool; killall ubuntuone-login
   2. Open Applications->Accessories->Passwords and Encryption Keys
   3. Click on the arrow next to "Passwords"
   4. Right-click on the Ubuntu One token and select "Delete"
   5. Go to https://one.ubuntu.com/account/machines/
   6. Click on the checkbox next to your computer
   7. Click the "Remove selected computers" button
   8. Open Me Menu->Ubuntu One or System -> Preferences -> Ubuntu One
   9. a web page should open, prompting you to add your computer to your Ubuntu 
One account
  10. Add your computer

You should be connected after you follow these steps. If you are not
connected, can you please attach your ubuntuone logs to this bug. Please
zip your $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder and attach the zip here.

You can attach logs to this bug report by clicking the 'Add Attachment
or patch' button at the bottom of the page.

Note that attaching your ubuntuone logs will show filenames you are
attempting to sync with Ubuntu One. If you do not want this to be
public, please mark the bug as private and this bug report will only be
available to you and the Ubuntu One team. Thank you for filing this bug
report and helping to make Ubuntu better.
