** Package changed: ubuntu => compiz (Ubuntu) ** Description changed:
I have two HD5870s in CrossfireX, with the drivers recommended by Ubuntu. I am getting extremely bad tearing in GNOME when I drag something across the screen even when the effects are turned off. I have tried using - Compwiz to change the settings but it didn't remove the problem (only - made it different). Enabling v-sync in the ATI control panel also has no - effect, nor does disabling CrossfireX. + compiz config-settings-manager to change the settings but it didn't + remove the problem (only made it different). Enabling v-sync in the ATI + control panel also has no effect, nor does disabling CrossfireX. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS x64. -- Horizontal tearing in GNOME https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584733 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
