Luke Yelavich hi. Please let me know what info you need and how I go about getting it, so I can get you enough info that you will mark this bug as complete and legit. As I google around trying to find a fix for this I see Im not alone. Most agree has has something to do with alsa and the default now being pulse audio I believe. In the gnome volume manager under input, I have no "microphone" or "line in" option like I always had. Im Multi Media Selector, there is no detection of the internal mic. I can plug in an external mic however and it works. Big disadvantage for Skype users ect., and for me. Seems its like a hit and miss. Some laptops have working mics and some dont. Anyways let me know where to get the logs, ect, and/or commands to run so I can get you the info you need. Thanks
